Lee Day - Company Director

Joined RJ Design in its infancy after taking the plunge and leaving my roots behind in Southampton where I set up and ran a video production company for 5 years. Since then I have seen the company grow a la Microsoft style - my only regret is not buying shares!
I can still be seen frequenting the motorways between Southampton and Nottingham on a bi weekly basis and am most noted for an unhealthy obsession with overseas property and spotting 'typos' when all others have given up and passed for press.

Luke Sherwin - Account Manager

Before joining RJ in June I spent almost 8 years client side as a graphic designer and marketeer working for a large importer distributor. Having been a satisfied customer for 4 years I finally took the plunge in June to become one of the newest members of the team.

A keen (strictly amateur) footballer, I can often be seen hobbling like an
old man on a Monday morning!

Chris Reynolds - Studio Manager

Having been in the design game for almost 9 years, there isnt much i havn't seen in this business!! I graduated from loughborough university of art and design, and went into magazine design working on a number of titles including a leading footwear publication.

5 and a bit years passed by before the challenge of rj design presented itself and i just couldnt resist, and 3 years in i still have a smile on my face and a spring in my step!! In these parts they call me the font geek, there isnt a font i dont know
about, sometimes the make or break factor of a design classic!!!

Matt Underwood - Multimedia Designer

I'm a vector loving graphic and web designer from Leicester. Joined the RJ team fresh from Derby Uni in 2004, since then I have been developing my style and extending my skills into web design. I have been successful in 2 national design competitions and had some illustrations commissioned by orange, but always seem to lose the RJ dreamteam league!

When I’m not at RJ I like to DJ and support Leicester City! (someone has too!)

Sarah Dunning - Art Director

Before joining RJ Design, my background was firmly established in television having worked for the BBC for over 10 years. Since joining RJ, my work has moved in a new and refreshing direction whilst still retaining a strong televisual influence.

My other passion is making inspiring chocolates, for which I've 100% support from the rest of the team who are my most devoted fans and tasters!

Ross Ballinger - Creative Designer

I had the most amazing time studying for my degree. My graphic design course was rewarding and fulfilling. A combination of hard graft and finding time to enjoy myself helped me produce exciting and creative work that I’m really proud of. I love bombing around in me Smart Car, I would really like to host a Cheese & Wine party one day and I need to spend more time beating my drumkit!

I feel its important to try new things, have fun with design and to believe in what you do! I am looking forward to continuing producing great work for RJ Design.

Sean Willday - 3D Artist

I Graduated from the university of Central England with a Masters Degree in Computer Animation & have been part of RJ Design for almost 18 months. My original role at RJ was as a print finisher, this has changed somewhat over the last 12 months and has spread into the realms of 3D.....

I love anything to do with 3D, from animation games and modelling through to film, video and special effects. I love learning new techniques, and I am always looking for ways to achieve different looks through lighting, texturing, rendering and animation.

Stev Lee - Production Manager

I started life as a buyer for a major Japanese press manufacturer, when they moved production East I decided that I needed a new and exciting challenge, so I joined RJ and have been enjoying my time since.

I'm looking after the production side of the business ensuring things are running smoothly and making sure the paperwork is perfect, I also walk around tidying up everything as I go, i think I may tidy up a little too much?

In my spare time i'm usually on Xbox live shooting or being shot at by a group of similarly nerdy people!!

Steve Boddy - Senior Lithographer

After attending the Joseph Wright Art School, I served a printing apprenticeship at a large security and promotional printing company. I worked for the same company for 40 years, producing a full range of quality printed products. I operated a large B1 format press which later culminated in being the ‘number one’ printer on a large format web-offset press.

Joining RJ Design at my time of life is a breath of fresh air. Working with younger people who have great skills and vision in graphic design is a new experience.

Andy Osborne - Lithographer

Caroline Young - Accounts Manager

Caz handles all the accounts whilst filling us in on the latest big brother and celeb gossip. She always brings Jazz, the company mascot, to work!

Bob Young - Logistics

Bob takes care of all the logistics and can be seen driving around in the new branded RJ van, with grace by his side he always delivers on time...
